With that said, I don't consider the 7D a downgrade to the 5D2, A900, or D700 it's just a different camera that is great at certain things and not so bad at other things. As with all cameras once you go past ISO 1600 it requires a bit of finesse to get the most out of it. As it is, the A900 does quite well in high ISO's - I shoot weddings and routinely deliver high quality images up to 6400 ISO. So ISO performance should not be that high on the list of concerns. Lucky for you in your genre of photography you hardly shoot over ISO 400. The massive amount of FF megapixels means that you will have Medium Format-like detail to play with while editing. A900 will be much better at shooting models, landscape, or fine art.
